Does resizing keep the animation?
Yes — every frame is decoded, scaled with high-quality interpolation, and re-encoded with its original timing and loop settings.
Why resize a GIF instead of compressing it?
Width is the biggest size lever a GIF has: half the width is roughly a quarter of the pixels. If a GIF is too large for Discord, Slack or email, resizing to 480px usually beats any compression setting. You can also do both — resize first, then run it through the compressor.
Is my GIF uploaded?
